Why can't I truncate a pool swim activity?

I forgot to end my pool swim activity so now I have a funky activity that's over an hour long and I only swam 22 minutes. For running and other activities I've found I could trim them or adjust the total time - that doesn't seem to be the case for a pool swim. Why not, and can you add this feature?

A workaround is to change the activity type to running, save it. Then trim the activity, save it, then change it back to swim.

Meanwhile, suggest submitting a request to Share Ideas | Garmin
