When will garmin allow to assign a different default gear to a different type of bike activity (mountain bike, road bike)...? It seems so obvious and all bikers we need to manually change gear every ride DESPITE the fact that our garmin device allows to track different type of bike activity!
But it must be "difficult" since this has been mentioned for years. But they ignore any useful suggestions to enhance Gear. I think that Garmin's idea of a user is that no one would EVER want to take time…
They probably first remove the whole function to use gear, because only a minority uses it. And it's far to complicated for the basic user.
Yeah it would be great to have & it can't be all that difficult as strava do it
