Why Coach Amy gives me Easy Run at 6.10 pace, when my real Tempo Run is at 6.20-6.30 min/km? What kind of "Easy Run" i can do at that pace? What a "Easy Run" must actually realise, can somebody tell me, please ? On my benchmark test, i runned 6.41 min/km. Next day, Coach Amy commes with that funny idea for me, to run 6.10 "Easy". How?

  • Easy Run in Garmin Coach or DSW is Zone 2 of your HR. Regardless which method you define your HR Zones.

    You should have Max HR and Resting HR already defined. After benchmark you should have also Lactate Threshold Pace and HR defined. I do not remember what was with mine.

    Next thing. I assume you have declared your Race Goal to be for pace 6:30 min/km. Not by mistake 5:30 or even less. 

    And if possible you should wear Strap HRM as there are numerous reports that OHR is not that good in recent firmware's.
