Editing totals on Garmin edge 840

Hi I just purchased an edge 840 and learned that during setup you can’t manually update the odometer. Not sure why Garmin wouldn’t add this functionality as most users probably want their history forwarded to a new device. Does anyone have a tool that can update the totals.fit file for me?

Copy the totals.fit from the old edge to the new edge 840 NEWFILES folder then restart, as mentioned here - Can I Copy or Back Up My Information and Settings on My Garmin Device?

If that doesn't work Fit File Repair tool can do it. Or you can zip then attach your totals.fit file to this thread and someone here can do it for you.

Thank you so much. I really appreciate it. I've attached the zip file. The Distance (km) column should read 57.1 kms for line 3 (currently 0.09) and line 5 should be 2719.9 kms (currently 0.76)

This should work - 2821.Totals-Fixed.zip

File structure remains as is.
First row always is the total of all profiles, so I adjusted accordingly.
Unzip then copy the attached fit file to the new edge 840 NEWFILES folder, then restart.

For some reason I had to copy and reboot a couple of times, but it worked. Thank you so much for doing this for me. Im particular about accuracy so this has scratched my OCD itch. Most appreciated!!
