Just started using my Vivoactive 5 since yesterday and linked to MFP. I'm confused as to how calories in/out are showing on Garmin Connect v MFP v calories burned on the watch itself. All our different! How are they supposed to interact to show a deficit?
For example to lose 1lb per week on MFP = 1570 cals per day. Exercise is then added
Garmin connect shows the 1570 cals food cals target but there is another number added for activity (much higher than the MFP activity).
Vivoactive 5 shows a total calories burned on the day front screen which is completely different again.
Surely this should be a lot simpler...Garmin know my sex, height, weight, calorie intake, activities etc and should be able to estimate and display a deficit on Connect? Am I missing something?
