‘Naps’ Added to Calendar with no option to filter them out!!

‘Naps’ all of which are false have now appeared on my Calendar, and there isn’t the option to filter them out!! Very Annoying!!

  • I know - I was then about about to post about this - I can't bear it !  I know a lot of people don't want naps auto-tracked at all - I don't care about that so much, but whether I was interested in naps at all, I certainly don't want them cluttering up my calendar.

  • I wouldn't so much mind seeing them in the various graphics if they were actually naps - the overwhelming number of incidents of naps Garmin perceives for me are not sleep at all - I'm sitting here watching TV and the watch [algorithms] somehow decide I'm asleep. Many evenings, I also get credit for 'deep' sleep intervals before I actually go to bed.  Maybe if they were called 'intense rest','highly-sedentary' or 'ultra-chill' intervals...  I consider myself on the 'let us delete naps' bandwagon!!!

  • Oh my gosh I just saw them filling up my calendar with no way to delete them. Most of them were falsely detected which is a separate issue. Why would I want naps on my workout calendar? Ugh!

  • Remove NAPS from training calendar!

  • I don't nap but I do watch TV. Naps polluting my calendar is truly aggravating. Please set it so we can toggle them off.

  • I've come around to the exact point of this post - even though I see a relevance to the watch detecting highly relaxed intervals, notably as input to body battery computations, I agree such detected periods are pure clutter on the [training] calendar.  I don't even think the user should have an option to include/exclude them on the calendar.  Leave the little Zzzzz things on the body battery graphic (and perhaps elsewhere I have yet to see), but eliminate naps as 'activities' from the calendar!

  • Yup, very annoying. Please remove
