250limit?

Small point, why a limit of 250 for New Year badges? Do you seriously think anyone is going to get anywhere near that number?

More importantly, why restrict the Climbs and Expeditions challenges to once only? How about, resetting them when you complete all of them?

I think OP means that the expedition badges should be also repeatable, i.e. when all expeditions are completed, it's a good idea to start a new round. But of course not in parallel.

All repeatable badges got a limit of 250. None is handled differently.

In the real world you can only do one expedition at a time. I don't see any logic in allowing multiple at the same time. If it would be allowed, many users would just join them all and then all would be finished in a very short time.
