Corrupt .fit file, can someone please help?

When saving today's 4x4 the battery died on my watch. After restarting the save completed but the file couldn't transfer to Connect. I have managed to create an uncorrupted file but the laps are gone making it impossible to see the distance and average speed on my interalls. Could someone please help me with fixing my file?

I also wonder if it is possible to transfer the fixed file back to the watch (by copiying it to the actiivty folder). When trying to add my uncorrupted file I just got a new activity with time but nothing else.

Try a manual upload to Garmin Connect Web - How Do I Manually Upload an Activity I Recorded to Garmin Connect?

If you get any message other than Import Complete, then there is a problem with the file. Attach it to this thread. We can take a look to see if it is repairable.

Zip the file, then in a reply post Insert >> Image/video/file >> click Upload >> browse for file >> OK.
Or upload the fit file to a reputable file sharing service, such as OneDrive, Google Drive, Dropbox, make the file public, then paste a link to the file in your post.
Or if you'd rather your activity remained private, you can send me a private message. I've set my account to allow PMs from everyone.

Thank you so much for this. Lapmarkers would be really helpful.

I started the first interval at 20:00, rest at 24:00, interval at 27:00, rest at 31:00, interval at 34:00, rest at 38:00, interval at 41:00 and rest at 45:00. Is it possible to mark laps as intervals and rest?

Can only add lap markers, similar to pressing the lap button during your activity.
