Unable to change activity when incident was detected

Hi, this weekend I was cycling. However, my watch (Forerunner 45s) detected an incident. After that, I resumed the activity and once it was saved, it was divided into three pieces in the Connect web/android app. But the biggest problem is that I am unable to change the activity type from "Incident Detected" to cycling. In the Android app, I can make the change, but it doesn't reflect. On the web, I am unable to edit anything.

Do you know where the problem might be?

I do not think there is a problem. It is rather the way it was designed.

What you can do, is exporting all three parts as "Original" from Garmin Connect Web, unzipping and sticking them together with the File Combiner of the FIT File Tools, and then importing back (you will need to delete the existing activities first) at https://connect.garmin.com/modern/import-data

I'm ok with splitted activities, but main problem is, that i can't change activity from incident ty cycling. I have it merged and uploaded, but it doesn't count in badges for example.

If you merge all three parts with the FIT File Tools, the type of the merged activity remained set to "Incident Detected"? If so, then let it so, and just add its distance manually to the part that was recorded as Cycling, and it will be counted for badges.
