sensor battery status of my speed and heart rate sensor both did not update at all in the web app (edge1030+). Have had both batteries empty for several times (normal battery usage) but the status remained green all the time. I assume it is more or less the same issue as you are facing.
I asked local Garmin support. They only came with: remove the battery from the sensors and the sensors as such from your device for at least an hour and then relink again. They do not have a test procedure though, to check if that really did the job. In your case it may not even possible to remove the battery perhaps?
So also here still the same issue.
I suspect it is a flaw in the SW APIs or links between the databases behind Garmin Express and the Garmin connect web app. I have seen these 'linking' issues before. Every time a new SW version of Garmin Connect web app is live some links to the databases seem to be broken/not updated properly.
