Garmin Connect Windows page Unresponsive

Every time I try to log into Garmin Connect Windows, I get the message that the  page is unresponsive and either to wait or quit. If I wait, nothing happens and I cannot click on any section. This has only happened since the recent update to Garmin Connect. Has anyone had similar and resolved the issue?
