How to delete or remove sensors from the sensor information list??

Can anyone tell me How to delete or remove sensors from the sensor information list??

There are old sensors and sensors in wrong off type that i will delete now!!

But i can't find how to do!

When I delete sensor from device than sensor will stay on this list on Garmin Connect web/android app.

Must I really wait for 90 days that sensors will disappears

    But on my Edge 1040 all my sensors connecting with the good type AND in Garmin Connect Android/Web some of the connected sensors are indentificated the wrong type!

    Like the Candanssensor 3414836457 is my Varia UT800 lightsensor !!

    How can I solve this ??

    I want to clean or update my sensorlist on Garmin Connect because Garmin Connect gives an wrong sensor indentification !!

    You do not need to solve it. It does not harm anything. If you do not want to use the sensor, disconnect it, and it will disappear after 90 days of non-usage. 

    And if you need to use the sensor that identifies incorrectly, then the only way to get it fixed, is contacting the manufacturer (Garmin in this case), and asking to fix the identification. However, as long as it works correctly, there is no urgency to it.

    BTW, are you sure it is the Varia light that identifies as cadence sensor? I did not find others reporting such issue. Did not your device simply connect to a cadence sensor on a bike standing near you? That can happen when you keep the auto-discovery enabled.

    To me it does not look like the cadence sensor is the same as the light device. They each were connected at different times. While the light was last connected on 02/03/2024 (just like the HRM and speed sensor), the cadence sensor was connected later - only one day before you took the screenshot. So they do not seem to be the same device, identifying twice. Or do you have two different Varia lights connected? Why exactly do you think the cadence sensor id comes from the Varia light?

    I'm sure that It is my Varia UT800 frontlight because this is the ID number in Edge 1040 at connected sensors!!

    Lightsensor 2185555540 is my rearlight FlareRT from Bontrager !!

    The sensorlist on Garmin Connect will not update my connected sensors!!

    So I like to clean my sensorlist !!

    In that case, you have to contact Garmin, and ask them to fix the identification.

    Alternatively, if you have some skills in coding, you could use a filtering rule for an ad blocker browser plugin, or browser's Override, and remove the unwanted entry in this way.
