I did the Benchmark Run for the 21km training plan, but once the training plan populated for the first week I saw that the allocated paces is way above my capability! Running interval pace repeats at 3min/km (and then the prigram says no sprinting) is elite athlete level. Must I redo the Benchmark Run at lower intensity or must I just keep on doing them as best I can and the paces for long runs, easy runs and intervals will adapt accordingly?
