Recorded Ride Activity on an Epix 2 and it won't download to Garmin Connect

Connected Epix 2 to windows computer for a manual import. Even though its a fit file, get the old "We don't support the file type you tried to import."

Followed the instructions to do a fit file repair, then I get the old "overflow" error.

Guess I just need to manually enter it into Strava? Crashes with an overflow at record 14400. I have tried large file format and unticking things doesn't work.

Pretty annoyed with Garmin.

We might be able to assist, if you can attach your file to a reply post...

Zip the file, then in a reply post Insert >> Image/video/file >> click Upload >> browse for file >> OK.
Or upload the fit file to a reputable file sharing service, such as OneDrive, Google Drive, Dropbox, make the file public, then paste a link to the file in your post.

thanks so much for responding quickly @seilogramp. The file is over 1MB, so fortunately I was able to use https://www.fitfiletools.com/#/stripper#view and I stripped out the heart rate data. That sorted it via the import tool on garmin connect web. Thank you though!!!
