It Happened Again- One of your files was not accepted by the system. Please contact Support for assistance

So I'm pretty sure my Instinct Solar Tactical is becoming douchey, just like the previous 2 I burned through (those issues will be on another thread). But my watch once again powered off when I stopped my activity (this time it's a swim) and I'm pretty sure the fit file is corrupted.

If possible I'd like to recover my lap splits (it was a 25M pool) and all other associated data like heart rate and swolf. Any and all assistance/ suggestions would be greatly appreciated! File as attached.[solved]

  • This will work - [solved]

I see in your other post, Instinct Solar Tactical randomly powers off during activity, you're having a multitude of issues, primarily powering off in the middle of an activity. I'm not seeing a flood of users reporting similar issues, but notably there are some - Instinct Solar keeps shutting down and can’t record any activities

If you're using an HR monitor, I'd suggest testing without using the HR monitor, as these can often corrupt fit files on a normally stable Garmin watch. I would at least try to eliminate that as the issue. I see you are on firmware 19.01, have you considered updating to 19.10, which was released about 3 weeks ago?

    Good luck!

  • Lifesaver, thank you so much! I have auto updates turned on but it would appear 19.10 isn't available in my region yet.

I don't often use a HR monitor; in fact haven't been using my HRM Dual for the past 2 months but the problem still persists. It has been that way for all the Instinct Solars I've used, and I might have to consider getting the Forerunner instead since it seems less problematic. I really love the Instinct interface and its buttons, so it's a huge pity.
