Strength Workouts

I currently have a subscription the Strong app to track my strength workouts.  I would love to track strength using my watch (Fenix 6X), however, building a workout is quite clunky in Garmin Connect:

1) I track my endurance activities in metric, however, I track weight in imperial.  It does not appear I can select metric for endurance activities and imperial for strength

2) I seems like I need to add a separate entry for each set eg.  my pull day treadmill warm-up, dead lift (5 sets), 6 more exercises with 3 sets each.  This works out to having to set up 24 separate entries - quite cumbersome. To have a higher adoption rate for this you will need to simplify it.  Most, it seams simply start a strength workout and don't bother tracking in the app. It would be better if I can add the movement once then click "add Set" button to the same entry.

- Additional Features:

1) be able to distinguish between Warm-up Sets and Working Sets

2) Track total volume w/ PRs

3) Programable rest timer with a skip function

4) Be able to change the planned order of the workout (after it has been loaded to the watch)

This all might be accomplished better if the "in workout" tracking interface was from the app.  This is how I track it on Strong now.

Have a look at the Rounds function - you can group several exercises, group them into a Round, and set the repeats number. You can also nest the Rounds

    1) be able to distinguish between Warm-up Sets and Working Sets

You can do that by selecting the Ste Type:

    3) Programable rest timer with a skip function

That's available too - program the rest as usually (using the Time duration type), and when you want to skip the remaining time, press the lap button.

    4) Be able to change the planned order of the workout (after it has been loaded to the watch)

That's possible too. You can initiate the edit on the watch (Strength Activity menu » Training » Workouts » your workout » Edit), then tap and drag the workout steps in the way you want, save, send to device, and then sync.
