Garmin Vivoactive 4 bought new January 2021. I charge every night, 100% charged in the morning. No recent changes in watch faces or settings. In the last few days the battery discharges to zero in less than 2 hours. Time for a new watch?

BUMMER... Waisted an hour doing the following. Downloaded the troubleshooting guide. Rebooted iPhone. Rebooted Garmin Vivoactive. Installed Garmin Connect on my desktop computer. Updated Vivoactive through the desktop computer USB port. Updated the Vivoactive software. Synced the software. NOW my Garmin Connect on the iPhone thinks it is yesterday. Watch says it is today, Friday, 2/2/2024. Adding steps to yesterday's steps. Rebooted Vivoactive and iPhone, again. Still adding today's steps to yesterdays steps. This is not good.
The battery drain problem was the first problem, that was fixed by following the Troubleshooting Guide. The daily data duplication cropped up after using the Troubleshooting Guide. The Vivoactive watch duplicated my "steps, hr, Intensity minutes, etc" for Thursday and Friday. Sending the duplicated readings to my iPhone. Then on Saturday morning the watch started working properly and the correct data was sent to my iPhone.
