Logging a run against an existing course

My watch battery ran out part way through a run. When I got home I manually created the complete course that I ran, but I don't know how to now log my full run against that course. Additionally, I ran that course again the next day when I wasn't wearing my watch - how can i create an activity attached to the course?

  • If you want manual activity with map just to keep track where you run, then create a course, download it as file (click bottom right ... [3 dots]), and import as an activity, edit time and pace.

    This is for full manual route, so you can make such activities for both cases, but for actual merging partial activity with course you would need some software.
