Bug - Exporting Activities as CSV file

In the top right of the Activities page as viewed on my PC browser (Firefox) is an export to CSV link. Until today (Jan 18 2024) it worked fine but now it does nothing. Is this another example of Garmin removing the ability for customers to download their own data?

  • Currently the "Export CSV" from the Activities > All Activities screen is not working.

Does anyone have a work around or resolution for this?

  • I can't do it either.  Sometimes I can click on the star (favorites) and download those records, but sometimes I can't.  I tried a whole bunch of things, and it looks like I can't export if I select my activities from January 6, 10 or 23.  If I select my other activies (with the star), I can download the starred activies.

  • I have the same error. CSV Export does not work for Running activities. It works for other ones.

  • I have report this bug two times by e-mail and latest one with chat today.

This is a bug technical support is not aware of, but no response up to now.

  • Has Anyone checked Garmin Express? Does it work to export activities from there?

  • This works for all activities, except running activities. As soon as I have a single running activity in my list, the export fails. Even if I were to select a single running activity, it fails to export.

  • Hi, reported to Garmin 3 days ago, no reply so far.

I can download cycling activities, hiit, rowing, but not the running.

  • After 2 messages by e-mail and 1 with chat with Technical Support, no response from Garmin. This demonstrate lack of interest about what we do with their devices.

In the past I cut all kind of commercial relationship with Polar for similar reasons. I had to throw away my device because it became useless. Devices did not sync with latest releases of equivalent app to Garmin Connect in Polar.

  • After 2 messages by e-mail and 1 with chat with Technical Support, no response from Garmin.

Email is not a reliable mean of communication today. Call them or use the chat if you need a quick answer. However, they are aware of this bug, and it will be certainly fixed in the next release. It just may take a few days. In the meantime, you can simply copy the visible activities list and paste it into Excel or into OpenOffice Calc (often works better with tables copied from HTML pages). You can also export individual activities with full details.

  • Hello,

I have the same problem about exporting running workout, nothing happens when I click on the export button.
