New Badges - Dance since 1/24 how to get it?

You need a watch that has a "Dance" activity. Currently the Garmin Lily 2 is the only watch with this functionality.

Alternatively you can try to register the activity with a different type, and then change its type to "Dance" in Garmin Connect.

That has not worked.   We did it 3 times. .   

Is there a specific badge you're trying to get? Also, are you recording the activity with a Garmin device? For example, I recorded an activity as Cardio with my Garmin watch, synced to Garmin Connect, then changed the activity type from Cardio to Dance Fitness in Garmin Connect.

I immediately received the Jazz Hands badge.

Some of the badges require many more activities, such as Dance Diva, which requires 100 dance fitness activities.

Why a pity? If you do not want to wear the watch while dancing, start the Cardio activity on it, and let the watch in the bag. Then stop when finished with the dancing, save, and later change the type to Dance in Garmin Connect.

For me is it a pity when I can't directly choose the activity. 

Originally you asked how to get the dance badge. You can do it in the described way, so I was surprised you told it is a pity instead of being relieved, when instructed how to do it.

Another way, is using a CIQ app capable to record an activity of any existing type. I have no personal experience with any of them, but there are several of them in the store. For example:
