Virtual cycling not counted towards challenge

I’ve noticed that mileage from my road cycling activities are being counted towards badge challenges, but it’s not when I’m riding Zwift and the activity type is virtual cycling. Is anyone else experiencing this?

Only activities recorded with a Garmin device or a Garmin app (namely Tacx) count towards badges and challenges.
