Someone else activity on my dashboard

My husband activity for past year synced to my dashboard today. We both have different devices and profiles. How do I resolve the issue: stop the incorrect sync AND remove his activities from my dashboard. It's months of workouts.

Thanks

Joanna

  • Sounds as if your husband paired his watch with your phone, or you both connected your watches with the USB cable to the same computer with Garmin Express.

It won't be trivial to remove the activities from your account, and it will be even more difficult for other metrics like VO₂max, Training Effect, Body Battery, etc. As for the activities, you can either do it manually (which will be quite a lot of work), or using a script (which requires certain technical skills). I recommend looking at the following thread to get the idea:

    https://forums.garmin.com/apps-software/mobile-apps-web/f/garmin-connect-web/165851/can-i-delete-just-the-activities-from-a-single-garmin-device-from-my-garmin-connect-account

However, first of all, you have to avoid that it happens again - verify the devices paired with the Garmin Connect app on your phone, and never connect your watches to the same computer (not even for charging)!

  • If you still need to connect both watches to the same computer (if you for example only got one computer and must update with Garmin Express) then always use different Windows or Mac user accounts on the computer. Never ever share the same accounts. Always login with your own.

For charging you can use any standard USB charger for a phone.
