I have a problem with my Garmin MK2 watch, when I am in Ski Backcountry mode, sometimes the word TRAD appears on the watch screen followed by a timer. When this message appears, I don't see the metres of difference in altitude I have climbed, but the altimeter works perfectly as the height marked corresponds to the height at the point where I am. Can you tell me what the word TRAD with timer means? If it helps, the word TRAD with the minute counter is at the bottom of the clock screen in white on an orange field.
