why can't I upload a new run training workout?

for 5 days I get a message, impossibile to upload, try later.
when I try to modify an existing training workout or create a new one

Which Garmin device are you using? How many workouts are currently on your device. Maybe you've reached a limit.

forerunner 45. and no limit, I only had 8 workouts when the problem happened (previously had many more, and now all cancelled. I can add a riding working, but I can't add a running work out. I've updated the app, I've tried deleting and re installing the app.

Try uploading it with from Garmin Connect Web with the help of Garmin Express over the USB cable. Also make sure the workout is really of the type Running.
