Hello, I've done a workout from the cycling plans in the garmin connect website:
"Garmin Connect website > Training Plans > Gran Fondo"
I created the plan and loaded it in my calendar... started TDA app (tacx desktop app) and ran the first planned workout for the day: "Zone 2 Aerobic" (1hr in Z2).
Using Neo 2t latest firmware on TDA (Windows 11).
All worked perfectly while doing it. Even the resume at the end of the workout (before uploading) showed the correct speed values.
Then it uploaded to GC. And now GC is showing an AVG speed of 42882 km/h...
I am in Italy and the account is all set in metric units. I already did other workouts using the TDA app and never happened. But it's the first time trying these Garmin Connect plans on the tda app. It seems it's happening only on these GC plans, not on workouts generated inside the TDA app.
- Is there a bug in metrics conversion on workouts imported from Connect training plans, when ran from TDA, or am I missing something?
I have a feeling it's uploading it in yards and just applying the km/h label.
I double checked EVERY setting on both GC and the tacx TDA app, nothing wrong, all is in metric. Even tried switching between dot/commas for decimals but nothing changed, same thing happened.
Screenshot from tda app (android app here just for convenience), look at the AVG speed:
but the real correct speed was stored in Connect if you look into the analysis:
so must be something it did at the end of the workout when uploading to Garmin connect.
