Hi,
I wear my recently bought Garmin Forerunner 55 watch while doing Zwift each morning. I also wear a heart rate strap on my chest which connects to Zwift. Most of the times, while the strap reads 150-200, my Garmin heart rate reads anywhere from 60-90, which is not even closely accurate. After the ride the Garmin reads the correct heart rate. I don't record any activities on the garmin while Zwifting, since (I think) this uses more battery, but any ideas why the watch won't read the proper data? Does it have a fail safe to not read high heart rates when it thinks you're sitting still? My mum's Fitbit can detect that she is on an exercise bike, and does all the heart rate data properly. Can my forerunner do this (not tell me I'm cycling but at least give me proper data)
