Garmin sync with Google Health Connect

Majority of the fitness apps i know sync data with Google Health connect it is similar to apple health when will the implementation come for garmin. As using 3rd party health sync app doesnt work all the time. I need to switch to different tracker or else stop using garmin because of this specific reason where sharing data with other apps is really hard.

Google Health connect simplified it as a bridge between all the apps. Hope garmin get this feature soon like how all the other fitness companies in market is doing it

Agreed. As it stands, I couldn't recommend Garmin products and will probably buy a different brand next time.

Not being an android user I am really shocked to find out that this isn't possible. Garmin is much more friendly with android than it is with apple in terms of the Connect app and the way that the watches work with the phones (being able to respond to texts etc with android but not with apple).

Wow, THIS is a wake-up call. There is no native synchronisation from Garmin to Google Health Connect or Fit.
Garmin is promoted on many social platforms, but not able to sync with Google's services?
Polar, Zepp, and many others can do it. Which, to me is not a "can't do" but then what? Why would this integration be neglected?

Ive tried asking this question via Garmin's chat, which send me many links, but not a definitive answer.
I had to write my own answer from reading this page to chat, before I received an acknowledge.
I've also asked if there was a solution on the horizon, but unfortunately, this sks big time!
