Why the garmin connect website has a complete different user name and have none of the training record that is on my mobile app?

As the title suggests when i log in with the same username and password to  the garmin connect website, my name is somehow changed to Ben. This is weird.

  • Very weird. Login with your email address instead.

  • To clarify, I did log in with my email address associated with the username. For once the garmin connect web displayed the correct information and training records yesterday but today, it was Ben again. I guess Garmin really needs to invest in proper software engineering and improved UI.

  • Contact Garmin Support so they can check what is going on with your account. 

  • Does anyone else use this computer and this browser?

    I noticed a very peculiar thing with the Garmin Connect website. I have two separate Garmin Connect accounts. One of them is my normal account which I use for sports/fitness purposes, and the other account I use as a sandbox to try out and test things, and generally as a place to experiment. Once in a while something like this happens:

    1. I log in to account 1. I do some stuff. Everything is fine.

    2. I log out. The website shows that I am NOT logged in anymore.

    3. I try to log in to account 2. I provide the username and password for account 2. But I get logged in to account 1 instead.

    So sometimes I need to log out twice in order to log in to another account.
