Display bug in GC

In GCW at the bottom of the screen, for an ultrarun activity

tab "circuits" shows 13 circuits

tab "rest" (next tab, I have a French interface and it is called "repos" shows only 5 lines (out of whih 2 rests)

which is definitely wrong...

Anyone also encountering this bug ?

  • The "Rest" tab (should be actually called "Active & Rest", but that's too long) shows 5 splits; 3 of them are active, and 2 are rests. The sums are matching with the "Laps" tab (Circuits in French). So far I see no problem there.

  • Strange that Summary doesn't add only displayed values, choose Rest, there are two: 0:14,2 and 6:40,6. But Summary shows 25:56, so it looks like some are missing.

  • Yes, you are right, the Summary line of the Rest tab (when displayed without filter) is matching the totals from Laps, but the individual lines do not add up to the totals shown on the Summary line. It concerns practically all columns. Unfortunately I cannot test it on my watch, since I do not have Ultra Trail with the Rests feature. Looks like a bug though, indeed - I recommend reporting it to the Support.

  • You got it and indeed it makes 2 bugs...

  • I just checked my last two ultra trail runs. One of them was 50k, the other 80k. The 50k shows just fine - all the rest and run periods are there, and they are matching the "Laps" list. But on the 80k run the last rest+active is missing (should be 6 rest periods, but only 5 are shown). Now, this might just be a coincidence, but in my case the missing rest coincides with the moment when the watch refused to continue turn-by-turn navigation because of the "max course points exceeded" limitation. I was using an F6S Pro Solar. I see your watch is also an F6. Maybe this is a watch issue, and not Garmin Connect issue.

  • How can I check the "max course points exceeded" limitation to see if we are encountering the same issue ?

    Thanks

  • This message shows when you start navigating the course. Initially course naviagtion will work just fine, but at some point you will stop getting turn-by-turn guidance. If you did not get that message at the start, then it means that the course did not exceed the course point limit and the issue is unrelated to this limitation, and was just a coincidence.

And anyway, the latest beta firmware removed the course point limit altogether.
