Sync old data from Garmin Instinct to Instinct 2X

Hi

I have recently bought a Garmin instinct 2X, I have added it as my primary tracking device, and the sync is now complete, however I would like to be able to view old data on my new watch is this possible ? I am aware historical data is always available on the connect app, I would simply like the historical data on my new watch.

Also how do i update step goal ? on my old watch it is on auto around 18000 a day, however on my new watch it is only 7500, i don't want to set it manually, surley the goal should update onto the new watch wothout having to set it manually ?

I know there is a option called true up which is turned on on my old watch, but i don't know how to activate it on the Instinct 2X

Ultimatley I would like the new watch set up the same as the old one, goals, data, settings etc.... but i am aware that is not mpossible with everything.

Thanks all.

Not a good idea. Instinct 2X has a rather small memory (just 64 MB), so generally it is rather recommended cleaning up the folder //GARMIN/Activity regularly (I do it weekly). Excessive number files can lead to unexpected behavior, like crashes, reboots, loss of data, failed firmware update, or even bricking the watch during such firmware update, etc. Additionally, keeping a large number of files in the folder would render the watch even more sluggish than it already is.

However, if you really want to do it, just copy all files from the folder //GARMIN/Activity/ on the old Instinct to the same folder on your Instinct 2X.
