Garmin Connect Web not showing flights today

I noticed today that GCW for today's date see's that I climbed 2 flights; Garmin Connect on Apple shows 9 as does my Instinct Solar 2.

While obtaining those flights I was in a walk activity but that has never been in a problem before. How do I fix this on GCW?

I'm signed in with the correct account, the steps are correct. I went up 7 and down 7 during that walk.

  • Did you join the Beta Program? If so, then the records could be from an OTA firmware update. There was one at the beginning of November. If the watch updated and rebooted, it could have lost some data in the process. If not, then I do not know.

  • No, never have. It's on the latest stable firmware.

It must be the Walk activity. Just finished a 40 minute walk with 9 flights. Same thing, the GCW Floors widget shows 9, the floors daily report shows 1 up 3 down. The reports section shows the correct data too.

This must be a glitch with either the walk activity or the daily report... it's odd.

Edit: Not that it should matter but the walk activity has the GPS disabled as this one is inside my office.

  • Try syncing couple of times on the phone app, then force-reload the page in GC Web (Shift-F5, on a computer), and see whether it helped. Up and then I see some discrepancies too, but the repeated syncing then usually fixes it. If it does not help, wait an hour or more, and try syncing and reloading again. As far as I could observe, the graph on the daily review does not really update in real time. The totals for the Report apparently go through instantly at each syncing, but the full data for the graph is typically transferred in chunks every couple of hours (perhaps more frequently; not sure about the frequency exactly).
