You realize they had Thanksgiving badges 2022 and 2021 and probably older? They can just call it "Turkey day" like some others do. There is no reason you can't separate what it is now from it's past.…
The Thanksgiving badges were also in the Asian countries. Last badge was available in Hong Kong, Indonesia, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Taiwan...and United States... Garmin Asia wanted a badge for Thanksgiving and had to add United States because Thanksgiving is a US holiday :-)
We can only guess why and how it works like it works.
Gotta wonder how those turkeys migrated to Asia, since they are only native to the Americas. But I guess they were food for the spanish explorers.... Guess when APAC wants badges to stay ahead of the rest of the worrld, they just program it and poof it's done.
Because the Garmin subsidiaries outside of Asia do not care about celebrating festivals, public occasions etc with Connect badges?

The badges have been a nice motivation, if they start slacking I have no reason to stick with Garmin when "other" choices are sometimes very comparable and better priced.
