undo and loop to start options missing when creating a course

I use garmin connect in a browser to create custom courses.  For some reason in just the past few weeks, the options to undo and loop to start are no longer there.  I think there were a couple of other links in that same area of the screen that are also missing, but I don't recall what they were.  I use undo and loop to start almost every time I create a course.

Any idea what happened or how to get them back?

  • Could you post a screenshot?  I'm seeing both undo and loop to start options in Edge, Chrome, and Firefox browsers.

The typical troubleshooting would be to try using a different browser, and/or clear the cache of your preferred browser.

  • Update - I was able to replicate the problem.  As soon as I put my start point on the map, the options go away.

  • The undo should be active as soon as you create a start point. You need at least 2 points to make the "loop to start" active.

  • On my ipad, in Chrome or Safari, even when I have two points, none of the menu options (loop to start, out and back, reverse direction, undo, etc.) are available.

  • On my ipad,

Ok then that changes things. Let me see if I can dig up my iPad. and try it.

  • Yeah I can recreate this on a smaller ipad (11"), but it's fine on a larger ipad. I think the real problem is the relatively low effective resolution of the smaller screen (but only on iPad, for whatever reason, as I can't recreate the problem on a computer by making the browser window smaller.)

Having said that, I found a workaround in Safari.

    After the buttons disappear:

    - tap on the aA button to the left of the URL, in the address bar

    - tap on a to reduce the text size to 85%. The missing buttons / links will reappear

    - tap on A to increase the text size back to 100%. The missing buttons / links will still be available

If that doesn't work, try going from 100% to 75% and back to 100%
