I have read through some posts and I am looking to get a better understand of what went wrong on my last custom workout. I was attempting to build a run workout of
Warmup
4x 400m (3:00 rest)
4x 200m (1:30 rest)
Warm down
The intent was to repeat the 400m intervals before proceeding to the 200m intervals. What happened was it had me run one 400m with 3:00 rest then the 4x 200m with 1:30 rest before going back up to the 400m for one interval and back into 4x 200m intervals.
In the workout I built them as 2 separate repeats (no nesting) and don't know why it interacted the way it did.
