Forerunner 245 won't update software

How do I update by Forerunner 245 to the latest software version? IThe current version is 12.10(49aecff) but for the last month or so whenver I try to update to version 13.0 I constantly get the "error" message.

I can download workouts from my watch to the PC. The PC recognizes my watch but I cannot uplaod to my watch. I created a running course on the website but that will not sync to my watch either. Seems like downloading everything from my watch is fine but trying to upload or update my watch doesn't work.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Did you try making more room on the storage by deleting old activities, workouts, and courses? See the folders //GARMIN/Activity, //GARMIN/Workouts, //GARMIN/Courses. You can also remove all unneeded languages from the folder //GARMIN/Texts, and completely clean up the folders //GARMIN/REMOTESW, and //GARMIN/Debug. I recommend backing up the entire storage, before deleting the files.
