Heart rate zone time is not a same as heart rate time in total

I've made a tour with bycile and foun out, that heart rate zone time is not a same as hear rate time in total. check attached picutre. Any idea why?

Total time in graf is 3:41h. Total time in HR Zones is 1:38h. At 2:44h i've presed a piuse. But still... some time is missing. I am using edge explorer 2 and HR belt

  • There should be five Heart Rate Zones that make up the total for time in zones - Zone 1 is missing from your image and your total.

The 1h38m00s is the total for the time you spent in Heart Rate Zones 2 to 5. There should also be some time in Zone 1 which you will also need to add to the total.

There will also be some additional time where your heart rate is below the lower threshold of Zone 1 which is not shown in the Heart Rate Zone breakdown.

  • Hey,

Zone 1 was cut out by mistake.

And i am sure that there is no HR below 84. I was almost 2:30 on climb

  • On your Edge Explore 2 can you see what it reports for the time in Heart Rate Zones for the activity? (I have an Edge 1030 Plus and this is available under History.)

Does what your Edge Explore 2 reports agree with what Garmin Connect Web reports?

Your percentage total for Time in Zones comes to 43% but looking at the graph it should be ~98% at least. Going by the 150bpm line on the graph it looks like you spent more that 25% of your time above 150bpm.

  • Yeah there is something really screwy going on there... Post the activity's FIT file so it can be examined.

Also are these your usual HR zones? Because it's clear they're not set up right for you, they're too low/narrow.
