Please help fix corrupt .fit file

Hello! Could someone please help me fix this Garmin fit file? It won't upload into any of my normal apps (Garmin connect, Strava, Running Ahead), and fixing it using online means has been unsuccessful. Tried importing the fitfilerepair tool but am getting all kinds of security hassles from my PC. Thank you!

Not much with the Forerunner 25, it can be much like the F35 in that it is prone to corrupt files.

If possible, avoid pressing stop or pause during an activity.
Sync your watch, backup the \GARMIN\ACTIVITY folder, then do a full master reset of your Forerunner 25 using these directions - Restoring All Default Settings.

Hello again. Sigh, the exact same issue happened again today. I chatted online with Garmin and they were unable to assist. Could you please fix this file, too? Meanwhile, I'll reboot my watch, and hope that fixes the problem. **Thank you!**

1 timestamp out of chronological order, which throws Garmin Connect for a loop.

Should do a factory reset - Forerunner 25 - Clearing User Data (garmin.com)

Uhh, yeah, as a scientist I can see where this is problematic :-D. Thank you for posting that detail! I now have a better idea of what might be contributing to this problem. Will do the reset. --Best wishes, Christine

In case this happens again to you, I make FitEdit which is free and works on Windows, macOS, Linux, and Android. The Additive and Backfill repair options sort out-of-order timestamps.

iOS version coming soon - working through App Store review. If FitEdit doesn't do something you expected it to, please let me know.
