Corrupted Fit file or something else?

My 220 has been a workhorse and this morning was the first time since I purchased (over 8 years ago) that I ran into a sync issue with Garmin Connect.

First, the prompt to remove file name (from my long run this morning) and manual uploads won't work (though I see a helpful update about this posted elsewhere in this forum).

I assume my FIT file is corrupted; however, all the data shows in my watch itself and uploaded to Strava without a hitch.

Also, I've had many battery-related issues in the past that jeopardized a properly saved activity -- e.g., long runs exceeding 2.5 hours -- but even when my watch shut down, sync-ing was never a problem--my activity was always preserved.

Would love to hear any guesses/insights on this: Is my file, for whatever reason, corrupted and beyond repair?
