Upload not working

Hi there, I am trying to upload .fit and .gpx files manually through the garmin connect web page. I always get an error message. Since yesterday everything worked out fine. Today even files, which had been working in the past, did not upload. Can you help?

You'll have to wait. If you're getting this error message:

Garmin Status page shows several issues at the moment, including Activity Uploads.

Garmin Connect | Status

Garmin Connect is up and running 99.9% of the time. Unfortunately, you're trying it during the 0.1%.

Are people still having problems at Monday 2nd Oct lunchtime UK time? I’m unable to synch my run from this morning with the app

Have you tried using Garmin Express or doing a manual upload?

I would like to upload the activity I’ve recorded on my watch, not create a manual upload. However a manual upload has worked. I don’t have Garmin express installed and for various reasons I’m not able to. Are there still issues with the app uploading activities?

A manual upload does exactly that. You would upload the activity from your watch. This is different from creating a manual activity. So if you did successfully upload and the activity from your watch now appears in Garmin Connect, then at least you now know that the activity is not corrupt in some way. I'm not seeing any threads about ongoing issues related to the outage.
