Swimming temperature precision

During open water swimming I can see the temperature with one decimal digit, like 18.7 degrees Celsius. When I look it up in Garmin Connect, it shows 19.0 degrees. So although it looks like there is a decimal showing, it is in fact rounded to a round number. I have send this to Garmin already today, but is there a way to see the recorded values? How can I do that?

The temperature is stored in the FIT file as integer values, so you cannot see any higher precision. You'd need to use 3rd part Connect IQ data field app for storing the temperature independently in floating point format. Check out the store, there may be perhaps some suitable apps available.
