I got my FR965 for 3 days now. Is there any way to show the average moving HR? Especially for longer ultra runs with resting phases, the average total HR is of limited use.

If you log your ultra run as Ultra running and press lap to to start and stop the rest, then you can look at the Rest tab in Garmin Connect. Filter on Active and look at the average HR on each active lap…

This is from a Backyard Ultra I did this year. I messed up with the lap button on lap 7 and had to click lap a few more times to get back to the correct active/rest logging, so I actually did 12 laps.

My lap key settings is "Lap + Rest" (to get the "Rest" page you must select Rest only or Lap + Rest) and I've turned off auto pause since I want the timer to continue to run even if I'm standing still.
