I tested creating an event with the "Lane Cove fun run 5km" course. The form automatically suggested "Sydney Australia", so I changed it to "Longueville NSW 2066 Australia" exactly like on your screenshot. When clicking the Next button, it warned me that I am using a different than the default location of that course, but it let me continue, save the event, and add it to the calender. The address was accepted, and stayed black, not red.
You wrote "Frequently not recognizing international address and does not allow me to save the event." - does it mean it does not happen always, just sometimes, or can you reproduce it anytime with this course and address?
