Corrupt FIT file - Fit file repair tool says "overflow".

Hi!

I recorded 3 activities on my Instinct 2s today but it seems like one of them is corrupt. I cannot upload it to Garmin Connect and I've tried using the Fit file repair tool to fix it but I just get a popup that says overflow, so I don't know what to do.

Could someone help we repair it? Here's the file: [solved]

What is the back story on this activity? It looks like it might have been accidentally deleted then recovered? Unfortunately, as it is, this one is beyond my level of expertise.

yes, I accidentally clicked discard on the activity and recovered it through a software (it was a hiking activity). Isn't there a way to fix this?

Yes, indeed, the file contains a random mixture of fractions of XML, firmware, and FIT files. I managed to extract three fractions of FIT files, so perhaps seilogramp could check them out and see whether there is anything to recover from them.

[solved] Hey @seilogramp, I’m having a similar issue with my fit file. I have no idea how it happened, since the file uploaded to strava without problems. Could you please take a look at the file too? Thanks in advance.
