Manual Scuba Diving activity

Is it possible to add manual scuba divi9ng actitivites? I've seen some posts that appeards to suggest it is possible, but I can't find an option for anything related to scuba diving in Garmin Connect (Web & Android).

It would be great to be abel to log at least basic details such as depth, dive duration and gas used and amount used. Being able to add equipment would be a great help too.

  • Scuba diving is available in the dropdown selection list when you add a new manual activity (see below). At least I have it there, but I am not sure whether it is not limited to those who own a diving watch. You could also try installing the app Garmin Dive - it could unlock the diving features in Garmin Connect too.

  • Thanks! Found it now. It is availble in Garmin Connect on the web but not in the Android version. The problem was that I added it on my mobile and then tried to edit it later in the Web version but didn't scroll up far enough to see the Diving section.

  • It is actually possible to add much more detail than I expected. However, I think it will work better for those using imperial measurments as it isn't possible to add data using decimal points so all meteric depths must be rounded to the closest meter. So for example 15.5m must be rounded to 15m. But if depth is expressed in feet then you can specify 50 feet which is closer to the actual depth.
