Hi - I rode the Leadville 100 yesterday, and all I'm able to get off my Garmin (which worked fine throughout the race) is the first 13 miles of the course.
Can anyone help find the other 91 miles of the race???

There are no timestamps recorded after 13.5 miles. The size of the file is 78 kB, which is extremely small for a 100-mile event.
Ran it through FFRT which produced the message:
The recording ended abruptly and without the expected summary records. Probably data records at the end of the recording are missing.
Maybe someone else can have a go.
Congrats on the finish though
Is it possible I removed those time stamps by running it through the time fixer thingy … I wonder if I can recover somehow.
Thanks for your help!
Did you get the file directly off of the edge? We would need the unprocessed file.
Yeah I’m worried I overwrote it…. But the file on the garmin display still shows 104 mi and 11 hours. I’m hoping it’s in there somewhere
Hi, the original FIT file should still be in the Activities folder on your Edge device, unless you specifically deleted it.
Edit: I also forgot to ask, did the device shut off at some point during the activity? Asking because the battery dying on long activities is often a cause of FIT file problems.
Thank you for your help on this! It did not die during the activity. I did alternate between course guidance on and off through the race day, because I knew it wouldn't last the full race on guidance.
It's been weird since I uploaded the LT100 file to it - I thought I'd make it simple and delete all my other courses from the 520 before race day and just have the LT100 course on it, but when I did that the 520 froze and hung on the startup screen and required a number of restarts to get it back to life. It was also slow to start the morning of raceday, but did boot right before I crossed the start line so all was good.
The file attached is pulled directly from the activities folder just now. Let me know if you think anything can be done! I appreciate everyone's expertise. 2023-08-12-06-39-12.zip
The meta data on the FIT file all makes sense - I pressed start at 6:39 am and pressed stop at 5:47 pm. Thinking about it again, though - I don't know that I ever clicked "SAVE" on the activity on the device, because I got swept up by crew and family in the finish area. So maybe that's the problem - the file was hung halfway between "STOP" and "SAVE".
Ok looks like the file directly from the device has the same issue, much too small to have all the data.
If it was powered off without saving, then I suppose it might have corrupted it somehow, though I don't think it's supposed to. I've had cases where the battery has actually died, and when I restart it (after charging) it still has the activity "open" and asks if I want to save it, continue, etc.
Looks like the data is hard gone in this case, wherever it went.
