Why can't I see the distance (km) I have walked in a group challenge?

I am in a group challenge. I can only see my steps whereas members in my group are able to display both the distance in km as well as their step count. I have checked my privacy and I can only display my steps. I have a Vivoactive 4s watch. What am I doing wrong? I would really appreciate some help with this. Thanks!

I see only steps in all group Steps challenges. AFAIK, the distance is shown only in Walk, Running, Cycling, or Swimming challenges - and for those you have to record the appropriate activities. It means, if you refer to the distance in Walk challenges, you have to log some Walk activities, to get some distance shown there. And adequately you need to log Running, Cycling, or Swimming activities for the respective challenges.
