How can I change my Primary Training Device?

I bought a new device and I want to set it as primary but I can't change this setting without removing the old one. Is it possible to change the Primary Training Device?

Perhaps your old device is not compatible with the Primary Training Device setting.

From Garmin Connect: Setting Your Primary Training Device | Garmin Customer Support:

If you do not see a Primary Training Device selector in Garmin Connect, this means that you do not have at least two devices compatible with the Primary Training Device setting. If you have only one compatible device, it is set by default as your Primary Training Device and no selector will show.
