High Pulse during Sleep FR55

how to fix this? latest firmware 8.02 I bought it 2 days ago second hand.
maybe on 31 july i was older firmware. but when i saw sleep data i update watch. and again i have high pulse. I coming from Fenix 5 there are no problem with pulse during sleep.
Also i use bluetooth broadcast mode all night.
could the bug be from watchface, widget or from broadcasting
yesterday i ride 2 hours in zwift and heartrate was perfect no bugs. problem is only while sleep.

  • My guess is that the high HR is detected because of restricted blood flow in the arm wearing the watch. With weaker signal, the watch then easier catches on some noise in the HR curve. I recommend adjusting the position, and the fit of the watch. And if you use to sleep on the arm, or with the arm under a pillow (or under the partner), then try attaching it to the other wrist, or even better to the ankle - minimally for a few nights, to see whether the restricted blood flow in the arm is really the culprit.

And it could be also a true peak of HR, for example due to brief periods of sleep apnea. Would be nice seing the HR graph measured concurrently also with your F5 (for the same night). An output from a chest strap would be even better.

  • I have full record of my sleep and my hand is not presure. i will try to loosen the watch strap a little.

I did not look the video, but right on the first frame of the first video, I see that your left arm is under the pillow and under your head. Hence, if it is the FR55 on that wrist, then your arm is compressed, and the blood flow is restricted!

That's not really surprising, I suppose you do not sit on the arm with the watch while riding the bike Smiley

  • ... and BTW, seeing you are wearing socks even in an apparently quite warm night, you probably suffer from peripheral vasoconstriction (reduced blood flow in the extremities), which may contribute further to the low quality of the HR signal.

  • sleep streams are my job now. i earn money from views. if wear blanket views are lower. here why i wear socks insted blanket. it helps me fall asleep faster.

Wear socks if you have cold feet

Your feet are rich in blood vessels, so your skin and core temperature there affect the temperature of the rest of your body.

Wearing socks made of breathable materials (cotton, wool) warms the skin, which signals the brain that it’s time to sleep. It also brings blood flow and heat to the skin’s surface; heat then dissipates into the air, cooling the core.

As a result, you may fall asleep a little faster and spend more time in deep sleep; in one experiment, foot warming was especially effective at helping older adults sleep more deeply.

  • Wear socks if you have cold feet

Yes, I know, but if you have cold feet, it means the peripheral blood flow is low. That's why I wrote that together with the arm been compressed by the head (& pillow), the vasoconstriction contributed to the bad quality of the HR signal too.

  • i try workout mode Treadmill with broadcast mode during activity. i wear watch normaly and he never detect abnormal heartrate for whole sleep.
also body batery and respiration not work during activity but watch still got sleep time, light, deep and rem sleep. usually i use broadcast heartrate mode.
