I have bought a new Vivomove 3 and it won't connect with My Fitness Pal at all.

I have a brand new Vivomove 3 but whenever I go to connect to My Fitness Pal it sends me around in circles. I click connect on the Garmin app, which sends me to MFP and does nothing. I select sync apps on the MFP app but it sends me to the web page for Garmin and still doesn't do anything. I accept all permissions. I have tried deleting the apps, making new accounts, allowing pop-ups on Chrome but nothing. Anyone else had this issue? Pretty frustrating especially with how expensive this watch was!
