Progress Summary sorting broken

I believe there's a bug in the Progress Summary due to a recent update.

When I use the filter "group by year" (or month etc.), only sorting by the first column really works.
If I click any other column header (e.g. activities count, total distance), it merely switches the sort direction, but the rows remain sorted by year.

Example screenshot - results should be sorted by the number of activities in descending order, but clearly that's not the case:

Tested in current Chrome and Firefox, no difference.

    You actually have to click the respective column header twice to have it resorted. However, the sorting is not always correct, but at least it does something. I recommend reporting it to the Support, they won't see your comment here, on the user forum.

    Thank you for the tip, I'll try to contact support then.
    Sorry for creating unnecessary noise on the forum. I thought creating a topic was the right course of action as I have come across many reports of failures and such here on the forum.

    For the record, I had noticed that clicking the column does "something", I was just pointing out that the outcome is wrong.
    Anyway, thank you so much for trying to help.

    There is no problem in creating a thread here. I advised to contact the Support because most people posting here are not aware they do not speak directly to Garmin here, rather just to the community of users. Although it can happen that a Garmin employee intervenes in a thread or two up and then, it is really rather exceptional, especially on the app-related forums (a bit more chance to be heard is on the model-related forums, although it is not a rule there either)

    Hi,

    in Garmin connect web version sorting in the progress summary stopped working.

    Steps:

    reports->progress summary

    filter for cycling

    grouped by year

    and if I want to sort by the distance it doesn't work-> order is changing due to column 'year', every 2nd click on column distance only the order by year is changed.

    on the printscreen below you can see that the order by distance is selected by it's not sorted

    Yes. I tested it and it is definitely broken. All columns sort incorrectly.

    do you know how to raise it? Above I see that Garmin doesn't read forum.

    As mentioned above, if you want to make Garmin aware of the issue, the best is contacting the Support directly. You can do it through their website at https://support.garmin.com

    Update - it looks like Garmin managed to fixed it, the sorting is working properly again.
